Established in 2016, TakeOne Company is a comprehensive content production company that develops and produces content intellectual property (IP) such as games, videos, webtoons, and characters. Mainly, they develop a cinematic game genre that combines the storytelling elements of video content with the profitability of games.

The content produced in this way is the mobile game 'BTS World', which was created in 2019. In 2016, Take One Company contacted Big Hit Entertainment (currently HYBE) to produce a game based on BTS, fast-rising Korean Wave star. The project accelerated as both sides actively cooperated on game development.

BTS World recorded 12 million downloads last year. It also recorded the highest sales in K-pop idol game history. In February 2021, it produced the tvN drama 'L.U.C.A.: The Beginning'. TakeOne Company currently has a number of original IPs in games, dramas, movies, webtoons, and characters.

TakeOne Company has recently been accelerating its efforts to penetrate the non-fungible token (NFT) game market. It plans to develop 'Pucca Puzzle Adventure', a puzzle game using the domestic character 'Pucca', which is also very popular in the global market, and target the market as the next NFT-based work. In order to strengthen the NFT project following Pucca Puzzle Adventure, it also entered into a strategic partnership with creative studio SLL.

In addition to targeting the NFT game market, TakeOne Company is continuously developing live-action games for K-pop idols such as BTS World. It is expected to be a training game based on interactive contents featuring the world's top idols. It is interpreted that YG Entertainment made a strategic investment as it has many top-notch K-pop idol groups in Korea.

An official from YG Entertainment said, "There is nothing we can disclose about the background of Take One Company's investment."
